Bad connections and thin cables cause many boats to produce only a fraction of the electricity they could produce. It may be hard to know what is needed for the electrical system to work well. Therefore, we have gathered the most important products to get started in two different starter packages, tailored to the size of your boat.

Skyllermarks’ Power kits are starter kits that can be mounted easily in the boat. After installing, measure how long the new cables should be between the connection points and order customized pre-pressed cables. Attach the cables and the result will be a high quality power system that provides at least double charge for most installations.
The Add-on kit is an add-on for the power kits, and it comes with pre-pressed marine cables which need to be attached between the consumer bank and your switchboard.

Buy a power kit of suitable size for your electricity needs.
Mount the busbar (4 × 50 mm²) near the generator and starter engine. Then mount the protective cover S over the red busbar.
After that you mount the fuse holder as close to the starter battery as possible. Don't forget to mount the protective cover XS over the fuse holder.
The separator relay should be installed between the starter battery and the first consumer battery. If the distance between the starter and the consumable battery is greater, only splice one of the cables supplied with the relay.
The battery terminals are mounted on the plus and minus poles on the batteries. Install a 400 A fuse in the fuse holder and put the second fuse in a safe place in the boat.
What remains now is to measure how long the cables in your new electrical system will be. Measure the distances between the generator, busbars, fuse holders and battery terminals, and order pre-pressed cables from your local retailer.
Finally, just attach the cables and your new electrical system is ready.
Install the fuse holder as close to the consumer battery as possible and mount the protective cover XS over the fuse holder.
Then mount the busbar (5 × 10 mm²) in connection with your switch board and mount the protection cover XXS over the busbar. Then attach the supplied 0.5 m cable between the pole (M6) of the battery and the fuse holder (M10), and the supplied 3.5 m cable between the fuse holder (M10) and the terminal block (M5).
Install a 100 A fuse in the fuse holder and put the second fuse in a safe place in the boat.
If you need a minus cable, we have a pre-pressed 10 mm² cable that is 4 meters long (KS0730) and a black busbar 5 x 10 mm² (E0335)
